This week went by fast. We were going to get out early on friday, but once again that got screwed up.

Today I finally got a demo of Doom 3!!! That has to be the best game for the X-Box yet! ...well, except for Halo 2 and GTA SA. Doom 3 is scary as hell and has the best lighting effects and graphics to date. And if that wasn't enough, it also comes with online multiplayer! They managed to keep the creepiness of the campaign in the multiplayer so you are always on edge. They also added a distortion effect when you talk which is cool. Playing this game is like being in Heaven...err more like Hell lol.
I also rented a few other games this week; one of them being The Getaway: Black Monday. This game is just like GTA, except for the lack of good controls, fun, and hookers. The controls really get annoying and you'll find it very challenging at times since their is no HUD for you map and such. The graphics are well done and the character models render nicely. But, they drive on the opposite side of the road in England, which can take some time to get used to.
Ya, all I did this weekend was play videogames, there was nothing else to do. My friends and I were planning on going somewhere, but something came up AGAIN. There are alot of games I am lookin forward to such as God of War, Half Life 2 [for X-Box], and Star Wars: Republic Commando. I am also deciding on getting a Hand Held.
